Francisca Ordega leaves Al-Ittihad after two seasons

 

 

Saudi Arabian women’s club Al-Ittihad have confirmed the departure of Nigerian forward Francisca Ordega after two seasons with the club.

 

The experienced Super Falcons star joined Al-Ittihad from Russian side CSKA Moscow in January 2025, bringing valuable experience and international pedigree to the rapidly developing Saudi women’s football scene.

 

Ordega has been a key figure in the Nigerian national team for several years, representing the Super Falcons at multiple FIFA Women’s World Cup and Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.

 

The veteran forward is regarded as one of Nigeria’s most experienced players of her generation, having built an impressive career both at home and abroad.

 

Her departure brings an end to her spell with Al-Ittihad as she now looks ahead to the next chapter of her career.
