Galatasaray reject €150m Al-Hill offer for Victor Osimhen
Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray have reportedly rejected a staggering €150 million offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
Al-Hilal initially expressed interest in the Super Eagles forward, who joined Galatasaray from Napoli at the beginning of last season.
According to reports, a Saudi delegation led by Prince Nawaf bin Saad made a verbal offer of €130 million for Osimhen. The prince reportedly told Galatasaray officials that he would personally travel to Istanbul if negotiations became official.
Al-Hilal also offered Osimhen an astronomical €50 million annual salary. However, Galatasaray made it clear that they had no intention of selling their star striker.
The Saudi club subsequently increased its offer to €150 million, but Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek and his management remained firm, rejecting the proposal and reiterating their determination to keep Osimhen at the club.
Osimhen, meanwhile, has reportedly expressed his happiness at Galatasaray and insisted that his focus is on the new season, with money not his priority.
The Nigerian striker made an impressive start to the new campaign, scoring twice in Galatasaray’s opening league match against Çorum FK.
