Miracle Ezechukwu begins new chapter at Auburn University

 

 

Nigerian sprint prospect Miracle Oluebube Ezechukwu has officially signed with Auburn University’s track and field program, marking a major step in the 17-year-old’s fast-ascending career.

 

Ezechukwu has been one of the standout young athletes on the continent, delivering eye-catching performances throughout the year. She shattered the MTN CHAMPS 100m record with a blazing 11.75s, a time that qualified her for the World U-20 Championships before going on to win the final in 11.81s.

 

She continued her fine form at the African U18/U20 Championships in Abeokuta, claiming gold in the Girls’ U-18 100m, an achievement made even more impressive as it came just weeks after completing her WAEC exams at Nigerian Tulip International School, Abuja. Her momentum carried into the African School Games in Algiers, where she stormed to the 200m title in 23.40s.

 

With her explosive speed, relentless competitiveness, and growing list of international credentials, Ezechukwu is widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s brightest young sprint talents. Her move to Auburn will provide access to world-class coaching, elite training facilities, and NCAA Division I competition, the perfect environment to sharpen her talent even further.
