Chidozie Awaziem swaps Nantes FC for Konyaspor
Nigeria defender has officially parted ways with the French club to join Konyaspor on a two year contract ahead of the 2026/27 season.
As part of the agreement, Konyaspor retain the option to extend the 29 year old's stay by an additional year, underlining the club's confidence in the Nigerian international's experience and leadership qualities.
Awaziem's move marks his latest stint abroad, having previously featured in Portugal, Spain, Croatia and France during his professional career.
The versatile centre back is expected to bolster Konyaspor's defensive unit as they prepare for the new Turkish Süper Lig campaign.
