Dreamstar Ladies maintain perfect run as Rosaria Victrix hit eight in 2025 NWFL Nationwide

Dreamstar Ladies edged closer to NWFL Championship promotion after recording their third consecutive win in the 2025 NWFL Nationwide, easing past C2E Sports Academy 3–0 in Abuja.

The Lagos-based side made a blistering start on Matchday Three, with Aishat Sanni finding the net inside two minutes. Rofiyat Daranijo doubled the lead in the 19th minute before Oluebube Ibezundu’s composed finish before halftime sealed a comfortable victory. The result means Dreamstar Ladies have taken maximum points from three games, sitting firmly atop Group A and within touching distance of promotion.

Elsewhere in the group, Plateau Queens staged an impressive comeback to beat Osklean FC 2–1 and reignite their qualification hopes. Ozioma Onyeso’s 30th-minute strike put Osklean ahead, but goals from Juliet Okoloko and Juliet Jude turned the tide in favour of the Jos based side.

In Group B, Solo Wonders FC picked up their first win of the campaign, defeating NAF Queens 3–1. Jessica Obinna opened the scoring in the 5th minute, while Nmesoma Uchendu bagged a brace to secure the three points. Acheri Godfrey grabbed NAF’s only goal in the 38th minute.

Rosaria Victrix produced the standout performance of the round, demolishing Sporting Angels 8–0 in a dominant display. Jessica Ibeh and Blessing Onwekwe both scored twice, with Oluebube Keke, Favour Ogalagu, Priscilla Oforhaihe, and Ifechukwu Christopher also finding the back of the net in the emphatic victory.

It was another nightmare outing for Sporting Angels, who have now lost all three matches, conceding 23 goals without scoring, currently the worst record in this year’s competition.

After Matchday Three, Dreamstar Ladies sit top of Group A with nine points, followed by Rangers Women on six and Plateau Queens on three. In Group B, Rosaria Victrix lead with six points, while Alexander Queens and Solo Wonders trail closely behind with four points each.
