EFCC visits NSC to discuss sports development
A team from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission's Sports Committee recently visited the Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Mallam Shehu Dikko. The group was led by Halilu Dauda, the Head of the Sports Committee and Assistant Commander of EFCC 2.
The visit aimed to get better acquainted with the Chairman before the upcoming One Service One Medal (OSOM) Games at MKO Abiola National Stadium. They also wanted to build partnerships to support sports growth in Nigeria.
Dauda explained, "We came to meet the NSC Chairman as we prepare for the OSOM Games. He has done a great job since taking this role, and we wanted to show our appreciation. With his vision for Nigerian sports, there are no limits to what can be achieved. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu deserves praise for appointing the right person to benefit sports."
He added, "We also looked for ways to work together with the NSC for the good of Nigerian sports. Cooperation is key to unlocking the country's many sporting talents."
