FCC Chair Congratulates Oyebanji on Historic Re-election, Says ‘The Difference Is Clear’

The Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Hon. Hulayat Motunrayo Omidiran, has congratulated Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji on his historic re-election, describing the outcome as a clear endorsement of his leadership and governance by the people of the state.

In a congratulatory message issued on Monday following Saturday’s governorship election, Omidiran said Oyebanji’s decisive victory reflects the confidence Ekiti residents have in his vision, inclusive leadership and commitment to delivering tangible development.

“The re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji is a testament to the confidence of the people of Ekiti State in his leadership, vision and commitment to improving the lives of citizens,” she said.

“The difference is clear in the impact of his administration, which has continued to promote development, unity and progress.”

According to the FCC Chairman, the election result demonstrates that citizens reward leaders who prioritize good governance, accountability and people-centred policies.

She noted that Oyebanji’s administration has distinguished itself through initiatives aimed at advancing socio-economic development, strengthening public institutions and expanding opportunities for residents across the state.

Omidiran added that the governor’s renewed mandate should serve as an encouragement to sustain policies that foster inclusive governance and equitable development.

“As Governor Oyebanji begins another term, I urge him to remain committed to the ideals of inclusive governance, fairness and equitable opportunities for all residents of Ekiti State,” she stated.

“His victory is a renewed call to continue building a stronger, more prosperous and united state.”

The FCC boss wished Governor Oyebanji continued success in office as he embarks on a second term, expressing confidence that his administration would consolidate on its achievements and further drive progress across Ekiti State.
