Gift Orban continued his impressive start to life in Turkey with a goal and an assist as Amedspor defeated Besiktas 3-2 in a thrilling Turkish Super Lig encounter on Sunday.

The Nigerian forward opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a spectacular long-range effort that found the top corner, giving Amedspor an early advantage.

Orban was involved again just nine minutes later when he set up Dia Saba for Amedspor’s second goal, putting the hosts 2-0 ahead.

Besiktas fought back to level the contest, but Amedspor eventually secured a memorable 3-2 victory to claim all three points.

Orban’s latest performance further underlined his growing influence since joining Amedspor on loan from German Bundesliga side Hoffenheim.
