Kebbi Fishers, Kada BSC set to reclaim 2026 NBSL Super 4 title
Three-time champions Kebbi Fishers BSC and 2022 winners Kada BSC maintained their perfect starts at the 2026 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) Super 4 Finals in Kaduna, with both sides recording victories in their second matches.
Kebbi Fishers defeated Ibom BSC 3-1 in the opening Matchday Two encounter at Murtala Muhammed Square.
Hamza Manga scored twice, while Ekene Obi added another as the three-time champions secured another important victory. Ibom BSC's lone goal came through Emma Okon.
In the second fixture, hosts Kada BSC edged Niger BSC 3-2 in an entertaining contest.
Dozie Frank gave Kada the lead in the opening period before Jamilu Haruna restored parity for Niger BSC.
Kada regained control in the subsequent periods, with Tanko Emmanuel and Victor Tale finding the net to put the hosts two goals ahead.
Hassan Abubakar pulled one back late for Niger BSC, but Kada held on to claim their second consecutive victory.
With both Kebbi Fishers and Kada BSC boasting perfect records after two matches, the two sides will meet in Sunday's decisive final, with the winner securing the 2026 NBSL Super 4 title.
Ibom BSC and Niger BSC will meanwhile face each other in the third-place playoff.
The women's beach soccer invitational tournament will also reach its conclusion on Sunday, with Kings Football Female Academy taking on RCCG Great Grace in the final.
An All-Star match between the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kaduna Chapter, and NBSL All-Stars is also scheduled to take place as part of the closing-day activities.
