Oyo State Government appoints Bello Waheed Adeolu as Crown FC General Manager
The Oyo State Government has appointed Bello Waheed Adeolu as the new General Manager of Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso.
Waheed holds a BSc in Physical Education and an MSc in Sports Administration from the University of Ilorin. He is also a former professional footballer who represented both Crown FC and Shooting Stars FC of Ibadan during his playing career.
An indigene of Ogbomoso North Local Government Area, the newly appointed General Manager brings considerable playing and sports administration experience to his new role.
Speaking after his appointment, Waheed expressed appreciation for the opportunity and pledged to deploy his experience and dedication toward the development of Crown FC.
He also promised to work closely with football stakeholders, the club’s supporters and other individuals across Oyo State to reposition the team and change the narrative surrounding Crown FC.
Waheed is expected to play a key role in strengthening the club’s administration and supporting its ambitions on and off the pitch.
