Match Maker Sports International, organisers of Street Rumble, have announced that former Olympic gold medallist and heavyweight world champion Ray Mercer will be in Lagos for Season 2 of the boxing event, with Brila Media joining as the official broadcast partner.

 Street Rumble Season 2 is scheduled for December 13, 2026, at Maracana Square in Ajegunle, Lagos.

 Following the success of the inaugural edition in April, the second season will return with an expanded vision aimed at showcasing Nigeria’s emerging boxing talents and providing a platform for the discovery of the country’s next generation of champions.

 A major attraction at the event will be the special international ringside appearance of Mercer, the American who won heavyweight gold at the 1988 Olympic Games before becoming a WBO World Heavyweight Champion.

 The organisers also confirmed Brila Media as the official media and broadcast partner for the second season, a move expected to give the grassroots boxing event wider exposure.
