2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup: El Kanemi Warriors, Shooting Stars learn Opponents
Nigeria's representatives in the 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup have discovered their opponents following the preliminary round draw.
El Kanemi Warriors will take on Union Deportivo of Guinea-Bissau in the opening preliminary round. Should the Maiduguri-based side progress, they will face Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca in the second preliminary round.
Meanwhile, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) have been handed a tough first-round fixture against Tunisian powerhouse CS Sfaxien as they bid for a place in the next stage of the competition.
The ties are expected to set the tone for Nigeria's campaign in this season's CAF Confederation Cup, with both clubs aiming to secure progression on the continental stage.
