Asisat Oshoala gifts grassroots coach Emmanuel Osahon Toyota Highlander in appreciation
Nigerian forward Asisat Oshoala has rewarded her grassroots coach, Emmanuel Osahon of FC Robo Queens, with a Toyota Highlander in recognition of his contribution to her early football development.
Oshoala's relationship with Osahon dates back to 2009, when she was still a teenager striving to establish herself in the game.
During the formative stages of her career, the FC Robo Queens coach provided her with the platform, guidance and support needed to nurture her talent and develop her footballing abilities.
Osahon played an important role in shaping Oshoala's early career, helping her lay the foundation for the remarkable journey that has seen her become one of Nigeria's most successful female footballers.
Having gone on to achieve significant success at club and international levels, the former African Women's Footballer of the Year has now found a special way to acknowledge the coach who believed in her potential from the beginning.
The presentation of the Toyota Highlander serves as a gesture of gratitude for Osahon's commitment, mentorship and investment in her development during her teenage years.
Oshoala's gesture is also a reminder of the important role grassroots coaches play in discovering and nurturing young football talents, often providing the foundation upon which successful careers are built.
