Bayelsa Queens sign in-form forward Mary Lucky from Abia Angels
NWFL Premiership champions Bayelsa Queens FC have added more firepower to their squad with the signing of Lucky Mary from Abia Angels FC.
The exciting forward netted 8 goals last season, including two memorable hat-tricks and earned multiple Player of the Match honours for her standout performances. Known for her pace, flair, and sharp eye for goal, Lucky Mary is already building a name for herself as one of the league’s most dynamic young attackers. She’ll wear the No. 13 jersey for the Prosperity Girls.
Her signing comes shortly after the club announced the arrival of Nigeria youth international Janet Akekoromowei from Nasarawa Amazons two back-to-back transfers that make Bayelsa Queens’ ambition crystal clear, they’re building a team capable of conquering both the NWFL and the CAF Women’s Champions League.
