Nigerian athletics internationals Miracle Ezechukwu, Samson Nathaniel and Adams Samuel Kure will headline a star studded field of more than 850 competitors at the 10th Anniversary Meet of Athletic Heat scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Yaba College of Technology Sports Complex, Lagos.

The landmark competition is expected to attract a blend of established national team athletes, rising talents and grassroots competitors, marking a decade of Athletic Heat's contribution to athletics development and talent discovery in Nigeria.

Ezechukwu, one of the country's promising sprint talents, is expected to feature in the women's 100m following an impressive rise through the ranks. 

The teenage sensation announced herself in 2025 with three gold medals at the African U-18 and U-20 Championships in Abeokuta. She has continued her impressive progression this year, recording personal bests of 11.15 seconds in the 100m and 22.77 seconds in the 200m. 

At the African Senior Athletics Championships in Accra, Ghana, she finished fourth in the women's 100m before helping Nigeria secure gold in the 4x100m relay in a championship record time of 42.94 seconds.
