Fisayo Dele Bashiru weighs SS Lazio future

Premier League interest in Fisayo Dele-Bashiru is gathering momentum ahead of the summer transfer window, with several English clubs reportedly keeping close tabs on the midfielder’s situation at S.S. Lazio.

According to reports from Sky Sports, at least three Premier League sides are monitoring the Nigerian midfielder, while Turkish outfit Trabzonspor are also following developments surrounding the 24 year old.

Among the English clubs credited with interest are Nottingham Forest and AFC Bournemouth, both of whom were linked with Dele-Bashiru during the January transfer window before Lazio reportedly turned down approaches for the player.

The former Sheffield Wednesday F.C. midfielder still has two years left on his contract in Italy, but discussions regarding his long-term future are expected to take place at the end of the season.

Sources close to the player suggest Dele-Bashiru is enjoying life in Serie A, although he remains open to the possibility of returning to England to play in the Premier League.

Since joining Lazio from Hatayspor in 2024, the midfielder has continued to enhance his reputation with a string of influential performances, attracting growing attention from clubs across Europe.
