Nigeria's Ruth Usoro delivered an outstanding performance to claim the silver medal in the women's long jump at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Usoro soared to a remarkable 6.87m (+2.7) on her very first attempt, securing second place and marking a significant improvement from her sixth-place finish at the previous Commonwealth Games.
England's Jazmin Sawyers claimed the gold medal with a winning leap of 6.93m, while Usoro's impressive display earned Nigeria another podium finish on the international stage.
