Super Falcons add Swedish Analyst Igor Krulj to technical crew ahead of WAFCON 2024

Nine-time African champions, the Super Falcons of Nigeria, have bolstered their technical team with the appointment of Swedish video analyst Igor Krulj, ahead of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.

Krulj, a UEFA Pro License holder and chief scout at Swedish top-flight club IFK Värnamo, is expected to provide valuable insights as the Falcons set their sights on a record-extending 10th WAFCON title.

The 35-year-old has previously managed Halmstads BK and served as both head coach and sporting director at Örgryte IS, adding to a rich coaching resume within Swedish football.

He joins an increasingly specialized backroom staff that already includes fitness coach Per Karlsson, who returned to the squad in May during a friendly match against Cameroon in Abeokuta.

Krulj will work closely with head coach Justin Madugu, assistant coach Ann Agumanu-Chiejine and goalkeeper trainer Auwal Makwalla, as the Super Falcons fine-tune preparations for the continental showpiece in Morocco.
