WAFU-B U-20 Boys Cup: Nigeria drawn with Ghana, Benin in Group A

 

 

Nigeria has been drawn alongside Ghana and Benin Republic in Group A of the 2025 WAFU Zone B U-20 Cup of Nations, set to take place in Accra.

 

The group promises intense competition as all three teams battle for a place in the semifinals, with only the top two advancing from each group.

 

The draw for the tournament was conducted on Friday, confirming the matchups for the third edition of the WAFU B U-20, which will run from July 10 to 23 in Prampram, Ghana.

 

Group B features a tough lineup, with Côte d’Ivoire facing Burkina Faso, Niger Republic, and Togo.

 

The WAFU Zone B U-20 tournament continues to serve as a key platform for emerging football talent across West Africa. It often acts as a qualifier for the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, adding extra weight to the regional showdown.
