American rapper Cardi B and Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye have sparked fresh dating speculation after being spotted together in Milan, Italy, during Milan Fashion Week.

The latest appearance is the newest in a series of public encounters between the two personalities since July, although neither Cardi B nor Okoye has confirmed that they are in a romantic relationship. 

Okoye, who plays for Italian Serie A side Udinese, was in Milan for a club event where he modelled Udinese’s new third kit.

Videos circulating online also showed the Nigerian goalkeeper spending time with Cardi B, further attracting attention from fans and social media users.

The sighting came as Okoye had yet to join the Super Eagles squad preparing for Nigeria’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau. Reports said he was expected to link up with the team afterwards. 

Cardi B was also in Milan for Vogue World Milano, where she walked the runway in a vintage Versace dress from the fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection. 

The latest encounter adds to a sequence of appearances that began during Paris Couture Week in July.

Okoye was photographed sitting beside Cardi B at the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show and was also seen helping her to her seat. The moment quickly circulated online and triggered speculation about a possible relationship.

The pair were subsequently spotted together in Venice on July 19, where they had dinner at Gio’s restaurant inside The St. Regis Venice alongside a group of other people. There was no reported public display of affection during the outing. 

They were also reportedly seen together around Udine in early September, where Okoye is based because of his football commitments.

Cardi B later spoke about the Nigerian goalkeeper during an interview with Vogue Arabia in August, describing him as “really sweet” and saying that although he appears “very strict and stern” on social media, he is “very kind.” 

When asked whether fans would see more of Okoye, the American rapper reportedly replied, “I hope so,” accompanied by a giggle.

Her comments added another layer to the speculation surrounding the pair, but did not constitute confirmation that they are dating. 

Okoye, 27, is a German-born Nigerian goalkeeper who represents the Super Eagles and plays for Udinese in Serie A. He began his professional career in Germany before spells in the Netherlands and England, eventually joining Udinese in 2023. 

The goalkeeper has also attracted attention outside football through his interest in fashion and appearances at major European fashion events.

For now, the repeated sightings in Paris, Venice, Udine and Milan, together with Cardi B’s comments, continue to fuel public curiosity about their relationship.

However, there has been no official confirmation from either Cardi B or Okoye that they are a couple.
