Nigeria have been drawn away to El Salvador in the Davis Cup World Group II Playoffs following their 0-4 defeat to Morocco in Rabat last week.

 The draw, conducted by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and Davis Cup organisers in London on Monday, handed Nigeria an away tie against El Salvador.

 The Nigerian team will be looking to bounce back from their setback against Morocco and secure a return to World Group II. The upcoming playoff presents another opportunity for Nigeria to regain their place in the competition’s second tier.

 According to the Davis Cup announcement, the tie is scheduled to take place from February 5 to 7, 2027.

 Nigeria will need a strong performance on the road to overcome El Salvador and keep their hopes of returning to World Group II alive.
