Nigerian footballers abroad enjoyed a productive weekend, with Super Falcons captain Asisat Oshoala leading the way with a stunning individual performance in the Saudi Women’s Premier League.

The Al Hilal forward scored twice and provided four assists as her side cruised to a 9–0 victory over Al Ahli.

Oshoala was at the heart of Al Hilal’s dominant first-half display, setting up four goals before getting on the scoresheet herself in the 45th minute. She completed her brace after the break to cap a remarkable outing.

Fellow Nigerian Christy Ucheibe also featured as Al Hilal secured their first league victory of the season.

Elsewhere in Saudi Arabia, Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre was also on target, converting from the penalty spot as Al Ittihad defeated Al Nassr 4–2 to make it two wins from two.

In Turkey, Suliat Abideen came off the bench in the 57th minute and found the net late as Fenerbahçe defeated Beşiktaş 3–0. The Nigerian struck in the 84th minute, with compatriot Regina Otu providing the assist, as Fenerbahçe maintained their perfect start.

And in another Turkish league encounter, Ayatsea Hembafan rescued a point for Kayseri KFK with a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser in their 1–1 draw away to Yüksekovaspor.

Princella Adubea had put the hosts ahead in the 70th minute, but Hembafan struck in the fourth minute of added time to ensure the points were shared.
