Peace Efih targets success at Panathinaikos after switch from OFIC Crete
Nigerian international Peace Efih has expressed excitement after sealing a permanent transfer to Greek Women's A Division side Panathinaikos, describing the move as a significant step in her professional career.
The experienced midfielder said she is eager to embrace the new challenge and contribute to the ambitions of the Greek club ahead of the upcoming season.
Efih began her football journey in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), where she featured for former champions Rivers Angels before moving to Bayelsa Queens, establishing herself as one of the country's most reliable midfielders.
Her move to Europe has seen her enjoy an impressive career across several top leagues. She has previously represented Sporting de Huelva and Zaragoza CFF in Spain, Kiryat Gat in Israel, and Portuguese outfit Braga, gaining valuable experience at the highest level.
Panathinaikos believe the Nigerian's wealth of experience, composure, and quality in midfield will add depth and balance to the squad as they prepare for a strong challenge for the Greek Women's A Division title.
