DR Congo unveil World Cup Playoffs roster as Nigeria protest hangs in the balance

Head coach Sébastien Desabre announced the Leopards’ squad on Wednesday as the team intensifies preparations for the crucial playoff scheduled to take place in Mexico City, Mexico.
DR Congo earned their place in the final playoff stage after defeating the Nigeria national football team in a dramatic penalty shootout during the African qualifying playoff.
The victory secured the Leopards a pathway to the intercontinental round, where a spot at the FIFA World Cup is at stake.
However, the outcome of that encounter remains under review following a formal complaint submitted to FIFA by Nigerian football authorities.
