UNILORIN Student Breaks World Record with 31-Hour Math Lesson

In a historic academic feat, Kazeem Akanbi Sanusi, a 400-level Mathematics student at the University of Ilorin, has broken the Guinness World Record for the Longest Mathematics Lesson, delivering an extraordinary session that lasted 31 hours, 42 minutes, and 54 seconds.

The record-breaking lesson, held at the Auditorium Basement of the university, surpassed the previous mark of 26 hours and drew widespread attention and admiration across the campus. Sanusi’s endurance and brilliance were met with thunderous applause from a captivated audience, which included top university officials such as the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Egbewole, SAN; Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Management Services), Prof. Adegboyega Fawole; Registrar, Mr. Mansur Alfanla; Dean of Physical Sciences, Prof. Abdullahi Alafara Baba; Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Alex Akanmu; and Students’ Union President, Comrade Victor Agezeh. 

While the record is yet to be officially certified by Guinness World Records, Sanusi’s achievement has already earned him the admiration of the academic community and beyond.
